Keakealani (25 print edition)
We all have it— an innate connection to nature. It is important to ask ourselves, "How do we respond to this connection?" In this particular piece, I was inspired by the Ku Kia’i Mauna: The Mauna Kea movement to protect sacred indigenous sites against the controversial thirty meter telescope. It was from this movement that I first learned of the concept Kapu Aloha, the highest level of discipline: love and kindness). Thousands of Native Hawaiians and indigenous allies all over Polynesia gathered on the Mauna because of this innate connection to protect Aloha ʻAina— love for the land.

Care & Display
While the prints are very durable, I recommend displaying them in a dry area out of direct sunlight to prolong the vibrancy of the print. Under normal lighting conditions, your prints will last for generations without noticeable fading. To clean your prints, dust them off with a soft cotton cloth or duster. Do not use cleaners, solvents or other liquids when cleaning your canvas prints.
